Context & Objectives
Following the redesign of their website, homofaber.com, the Michelangelo Foundation needed a reliable way to measure the new site's performance and understand user behavior.
My mission was to build a complete data tracking strategy from scratch. The main goals were to:
- Identify what matters: Define the most important metrics (KPIs) to track for the foundation.
- Set up the tools: Ensure the technical tracking was perfectly integrated into the new website.
- Make data easy to read: Provide the team with simple, visual reports to monitor their daily performance.


Results & Impact
By connecting the right tools and building a clear strategy, we gave the foundation total visibility over their website traffic and user engagement. Key deliverables included:
- Custom Tagging Plan: Created a clear roadmap detailing exactly which user actions (clicks, views, sign-ups) needed to be tracked across the website.
- Technical Setup: Successfully configured Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics to securely and accurately collect all the necessary data.
- Interactive Dashboards: Built automated, easy-to-read visual reports using Looker Studio. The foundation's team can now monitor their key KPIs at a glance, without needing to be data experts.
