Context & Objectives
Au Tigre Vanillé is a premier travel agency renowned for crafting tailor-made journeys. However, behind the scenes, the process of designing these bespoke itineraries was highly manual and time-consuming for their travel creators.
Representing one of my most significant projects as an independent digital consultant, my mission was to lead and support the digital transformation of their itinerary creation process. The goal was twofold:
- Empower the internal teams: Streamline the workflow to drastically reduce the time travel creators spent building and formatting proposals.
- Elevate the Customer Experience (CX): Modernize how clients interact with their upcoming travel plans, transitioning from traditional formats to a seamless, premium digital experience.
The Results & Impact
By centralizing data and rethinking the digital ecosystem, we successfully overhauled the agency’s operational workflow and the end-client experience. The transformation yielded significant deliverables:
- Massive Data Migration & Centralization: Successfully structured and migrated a massive content library to power the new system, including over 35,000 high-quality photos, 8,000 unique activities, and 7,000 accommodations.
- Optimized Internal Workflows: Travel creators are now equipped with a centralized, fluid platform that reduced itinerary creation time by 50%. This massive efficiency gain allows the team to focus their energy on curation and client relationships rather than administrative formatting.
- Personalized Client Mini-Sites: Every traveler now receives a customized, responsive mini-site. This dedicated portal beautifully presents their day-by-day itinerary and serves as a secure, centralized hub for all their essential travel documents.
- On-the-Go Mobile App: We extended the digital experience beyond the booking phase. Clients now have access to a dedicated mobile application, keeping their itinerary, maps, and offline documents right in their pocket while traveling.
